Keys To My Heart

This mother scrapbooking layout titled "Keys To My Heart" was done using the Basic Grey Blush line of paper.

Basic Grey always has some patterned paper that has large designs on the corners that can be cut out freehand and used as embellishments. That is what I did here.

Keys To My Heart Layout Instructions

  1. Start with patterned flower base.
  2. About 1/4" from the top of the page, place a 2" strip of cardstock. Mat your pictures in coordinating color cardstock.
  3. Using another pattern paper, rip a 2" x 12" piece off and glue to the bottom of the page. Rip a 6" x 5" piece of the same paper and glue to the top right corner.
  4. Cut out the design from the left side and right side of the designed paper and place the one cut from the left side on the bottom right corner and the one cut from the right side to the top right corner.
  5. Tie a piece of fiber around an antique key (I got mine in a lot off of eBay). Stamp "to" in mini tag stickers with black ink and adhere glitter letters (Me and My Big Ideas) for "my". I just cut the heart out of cardstock and popped it up with foam squares.
  6. Place your matted picture over the top and glue down.
