Memorial Day, originally called Decoration Day, is a day to remember and honor our ancestors, our loved ones, our friends who died in conflicts and wars. It is also a day to celebrate your family's military history.

You can start you memorial day scrapbooking layout ideas, by writing down the national anthem, including the nattional flag.

• Include pictures of family members that paid the ultimate price. Taking time to journal your thoughts, feelings,the place and date of death next to the name.

• Take pictures when visiting cemeteries and placing flags or flowers on the graves of our fallen heroes.
