Mother's Day occurs annually on the second Sunday in May. Although festivals honoring mothers can be traced back to the Greek celebration honoring Rhea, the Mother of Gods, it was not until the 1870's that the holiday became a possibility in the United States.

In some parts of the world wearing flowers for Mother's Day is a tradition. Wearing a pink or red flower represents that your mother is still alive. While the wearing of a white flower symbolizes that your Mother is dead. You can create a memory book in honour of your mother this mother's day using these mother's day scrapbooking ideas.

Whenever mother’s Day comes around, we are often at a loss for selecting a special gift that really shows we care.     Then take and include pictures of your mom having breakfast.
    Include photos when preparing breakfast for your mom.
    Ask and journal her thoughts and feelings.
